The remaining licensing problem for tags is probably a configuration issue. Will investigate.

Brought it's libraries up to date and started writing documentation on how to get the necessary files out of a Xythos installation.

Lawyer - no news, languishing in legal somewhere

A lot of traffic lately from two faculty groups writing NSF grants which involve Thinkspace:

1. CIRTL (http://www.cirtl.net/) is an NSF funded project already in existence to provide STEM learning in Higher ed. The first 6 universities cobbled together a number of technologies (Moodle, Drupal etc.) and would like a university to take over the IT infrastructure as it grows. We are building the budget now which currently is $4.3M for 5 years (will probably be pared). This would provide me some full-time help and allow me to work full-time on Thinkspace. This is an unsolicited grant but it already has a program manager which usually means it is very likely to be funded if we can get the numbers to work out.
2. NSF Cyberlearing grant (http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2011/nsf11587/nsf11587.pdf): $1.6M to enhance Thinkspace with team-based learning and improved feedback tools. I would get two full-time programmers for 4 years.

There is no issue tracking for the Notices plugin, so I emailed the issue directly to Eric Dalquist.

Steve - Should we terminate incubation for this given the News Reader Portlet? I could just get it into git like the other portlets though.

Jen suggests that she would love to have Steve become a committer on NewsReaderPortlet to add / simplify in any way to meet unmet needs.  She is resistant to having a second RSS reader portlet.  Could continue as community portlet if incubation terminated.
