Jonathan, Susan and Jen talked on the phone about which portlets to prioritize. The first projects to focus on should be the 4 that are already being distributed with uPortal:

  • Resource Server - INC-14
  • Web Proxy Portlet - INC-8
  • Bookmarks Portlet - INC-6
  • Functional Tests Portlet - INC-7

The project lead for all of these is Eric Dalquist who is not available to work with us to implement changes until after his University weathers the start of fall semester. We can do the following:

  1. Update our JIRA to be current and include a list of committers both individuals and institutions as far as possible.
  2. Initiate process of getting contributor agreements and perhaps software grant from all committers.
  3. Jen and Jonathan talked about a "standard" for where info on portlets should be put and what types. E.G. thumb nails and features on mail web site, details and screenshots in wiki. This needs to be documented so incubating projects can be updated to conform.
  4. Talk to Eric as to who might be able to make changes.
