Work on incubation at conference

What preparation is needed to work on incubation requirements on Thursday of conference?

  • How to page for licensing needed?
  • road map example from Jasig wiki and or jira

We could be flexible on road map but not on licensing.  BOF session to generate road map for portlets in incubation.
Tuy will see if she can get permission to spend half day on Thursday helping.

Clarification: check list item "all non-licensed or license-incompatible dependencies removed from code base" is a check to make sure that the code base being accepted does not contain any non licensed or license incompatible components.  To complete licensing requirements the project must follow the procedure on Implementing the Licensing Policyand also ensure that any non-licensed or incompatible components have been removed.

Would like to announce at conference.  They are still working on mailing lists.  Jasig looking for hosted subversion so this may delay svn migration.  Could come out of incubation on old svn and move later.  RPI has signed software grant and contributor agreements.  Steering committee has been formed and will meet 2/26.  Wiki, svn, jira, mailing lists will migrate in the coming months.  Jasig needs to have history and infrastructure for sponsored projects but we could temporarily extend requirement based on target dates.  Be prepared to vote on Bedework on email.
