- Now is a good time to start on incubation NG
- Need international participants
Patty will pull together and lead the new committee to establish process for new organization. This hasn't started yet.
Recruit one more person for this committee. Cris will approach Robert (Bob) Long. Conversation has started.
- Go ahead with this as temporary commitment with possible longer term if desirable - Cris please follow up
- Cris will walk Bob through the process and help him get set up in Jira. Welcome!

Steve's points - how to help projects achieve community and not founder trying. We were trying to prevent abandoned projects. Maybe could use some $$ for marketing to show the work.

| ThinkSpace | tim carroll | Pete Boysen | Thinkspace is much more stable than last year and they are continuing to add functionality. Looks like OAE is a dead end, since the faculty wasn't all that enamored with it. Pete was able to make ThinkSpace an LTI provider in about 4 hours which was cool so they can now show content in Blackboard or uPortal (with the BLTI portlet). He is working on providing grade reporting back to the LTI consumer. Bb has that in SP10 beta. They have funding from an education grant for the next year or two, but there is no movement on long-term funding opportunities so the future is not guaranteed. |
