Jasig jira/wiki migration

The legacy Jasig Jira and Confluence instances have been replicated to the Atlassian Cloud. Once initial testing is complete, redirects will be put in place and the old ones decommissioned.

Web componens

UW-Madison and Unicon held a call to discuss development they are doing with web components. Drew will be organizing a uPortal web component webinar as part of the Apereo fall series on September 19, 2018 at Noon EDT. We will be promoting this in a variety of ways prior to the event.

uPortal Security Response document

The document on how the uPSC handles reports of security concerns will be made public and moved to Github.

uPortal Winter Summit

There are up to a dozen people that have expressed interest in attending a uPortal meetup hosted by Unicon in Arizona in late January. Details are forthcoming.

uPortal diversity and inclusion

The uPSC has been discussing how we might review and increase diversity and inclusion in the uPortal community. We will look into hiring a consultant to assist us with this.
