This will contain an outline of our documentation strategy

Proposal: Separate basic installation of uPortal from custom configurations and development.

Objective: Organize content for new adopters.

1. Getting uPortal Installed with Requirements

2. Customize uPortal based on University's Needs

3. After the portal is installed & configured: portlets, development, etc...

• The Proposed Outline 

1. Copy over relevant documentation from the Portlets manual

2. The Developer's Guide will maybe be a replacement to the Portlets manual

3. Scour the Jasig wiki for any developer docs that are scattered

4. Have Eric create a new wiki space

5. Form a working group

6. Start creating the outline 

• Removed JSR-286 reference since it won't be supported until next major release

• Removed SLM/ALM layouts, they're outdated for the current release

• Week of 6/22/2010 ---- Identifying what we have and don't have while matching it up with the documentation outline
