uPortal Developer Meetings
The uPortal development community generally meets twice a year, once in March and once in August. The meeting locations alternate between the east coast and west coast of North America. The purpose of each meeting is to set goals, prioritize features, conduct technical discussions, and assign work to developers. Anyone who would like to get involved in the uPortal project is welcome to attend. Each meeting is announced on the uPortal developers mailing list and posted to the uPortal web page. The hosting organization usually requests RSVPs from those wishing to attend. Approximately 10 to 20 people attend the meetings and the meetings are usually two days long.
If your organization is interested in hosting a meeting, please contact Eric Dalquist. For each meeting, the project manager considers the list of volunteers and chooses one.
