Jasig service migration

The legacy Jasig Jira and Confluence instances have been replicated to the Atlassian Cloud and redirects are in place. There are other legacy artifacts that are still in use that still need to be migrated. Drew and Andrew will be working on this. Work is tracked in a google doc.

Web component webinar

Drew discussed plans for the web component webinar that is part of  Apereo fall series on September 19, 2018 at Noon EDT. If community members have work they would like to share, they can reach out to Drew.

uPortal Steering Committee elections

The developer representatives will be nominated 9/5-9/11 and voted upon 9/12-9/14. The community representatives will be nominated 9/17-9/24 and voted upon by the uPSC 9/25-9/26.

uPortal Winter Summit

This will be held in Gilbert, AZ January 29-21, 2019. A collaborative document to help shape the event will be made available soon.

uPortal diversity and inclusion

At our next uPSC meeting we plan on discussing diversity and inclusion within the uPortal project with a consultant that specializes in this work.

Community news

Julien showed off the new ENT portal based on uPortal 5.2.2 and featuring some new web components.

Tim Vertein, contributor to the uPortal project over the last five years, has taken another position at UW-Madison managing a team of developers with the Wisconsin Center for Education Research.

Unicon is interested in talking with organizations that would like to discuss a possible uPortal as SaaS offering.
