  • Majority of Meetup.com folks prefer Nov 12, 13 dates. Consensus of the team was we should shoot for that date pending availablitiy of the location. Currenly, Rutgers is the only potential location.
  • Best guess estimates of attendees at this point is 50-60 ppl. Consensus that a small 100-200 fee would be no problem. Cost could also potentially be offset from sponsorship (JASIG, Commercial, Hosting School,...) We need a volunteer to seek out potential sponsors.
  • Jonathan will coordinate promoting the event. Once the details are more firm potential marketing with peer community source groups, commercial partners, jasig mailing lists, newsletter, etc.
  • Potential Unconference Events/Organization
    • 12 minute lightning talks (with/without dialogue)
    • Demo tables
    • Plugfest
    • UCamp
    • Ask the Expert
    • Self Organizing Sessions
  • We'll use Meetup for rsvp and possibly fee collection. We'll use jasig wiki for online pressence and organization. We'll seed a few organizing pages will potential topics and proposed schedule. Consider also including bios of experts.
