Change pithy CAS definition to  "An enterprise authentication system and single sign on service"

The "What is Jasig?" section seems awkward. How about just

"Jasig is a sponsor of open source projects and their communities, with an emphasis on higher education.

Jasig is a non-profit (501(c)3), membership organization comprised of higher education institutions and commercial affiliates."

Correct spelling is "ESUP Portail"

Definition:  ESUP Portail is a consortium of over 80 French universities that create, share, and support open source applications."

The nice graphics that display a product box for uPortal and CAS misspell the word "Download".  I think these graphics are displayed elsewhere on the site too.

We should add a link to the CAS User Manual.

How do we want to organize this page since some of that generic information has links to more specific pages (i.e. mailing lists).

Change "For more information please visit the Jasig Wiki page." to "For more information, please visit the CAS Steering Committee Wiki Space."

My thoughts on the support and services content is here:

Other Feedback

  • There is something amiss with the blog page - entries not formatted correctly.  SusanBramhall

Deployment Page

Deployment creation page is very uPortal specific even when CAS is chosen:

  • "Enter the name of the uPortal system administrator. This information will not be public if you choose to leave the contact information unpublished. It is primarily to help site administrators keep website content up-to-date."
  • "Layout Manager"

In addition, the column that contains the deployment information after its been added (i.e. the list) is rather small.
