JASIG Content Inventory

Purpose

A content inventory provides a list of pages and page types that will be present on the website. This is a flat list of content with no grouping or hierarchy. Below each page is a bulleted list describing the content for this page or any comments. Once the content inventory is agreed upon we will organize the final content list into a content hierarchy and define the information architecture of the site.

Technically speaking, the sky is the limit on what types of content we can have on this site: blogs, forums, podcasts, private messaging, user points, etc... But our challenge is to only offer content the community is willing to support.

  • Membership should be featured prominently, with descriptions of each membership class and a downloadable application form for each. -JJM

  • Somehow closely tie this in with 'Get Involved' -JimH

  • We need to feature our associate consortia:  ESUP-Portail and JASIG UK  -JJM

Official JASIG Blog ???

  • A simple way to give press releases (similar to Google's official blog)

  • Blog aggregation of posts tagged 'jasig'? (or is this too dangerous) -JimH
