Description
Students have many compelling options for online content creation and collaboration. Looming large is the free Google Apps suite. Students use these tools to concurrently to edit documents, share calendars and manage their email with a rich and flexible client.
Sakai institutions are already implementing Google Apps for Education. As OAE matures, many Google-centric students -- as well as staff and faculty -- will be reluctant to completely give up their life in the Google-verse. In higher-ed's spirit of open collaboration, how can Sakai OAE design teams best integrate these tools? Come see what some institutions are doing, and bring your own ideas to discuss.
