Pre-Conditions
- System User MUST be authenticated with OpenRegistry System
Business Flow
- The system user will provide identity information about the person to find. At a minimum required fields include first name and last name, either complete or partial. Examples of identifiers include the following: SSN, date of birth, netid, email address, etc.
- The Open Registry system will provide possible matches based on identification information supplied by the system user. The Open Registry system will indicate one of the following: single match found, likely match found, one or more possible matches found, or no match found. Open Registry will provide error information if there are validation errors when processing the identifiers provided by the system user.
Post Conditions
- Any errors are logged and appropriate people will be notified.
