[10:19:55 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> We are starting the demo in just a few minutes
[10:33:39 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> https://wiki.jasig.org/display/SSP/SSP+v2.0+MAP+Tool
[11:36:02 CDT(-0500)] <js70> Jason about that bug. Have been unable to reproduce.
[11:58:36 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> have or have not been able to produce?
[12:04:59 CDT(-0500)] <js70> have not been able to produce.
[12:05:52 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> Since I'm not getting much info, I'm not sure what else I can provide. I could screen share
[12:06:06 CDT(-0500)] <js70> is it everytime?
[12:06:51 CDT(-0500)] <js70> do you see it when you load the reports page or only when hitting disability.
[12:07:41 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> right now only disability after I hit submit
[12:08:31 CDT(-0500)] <js70> are all fields filled in like Special Service Groups, Sevice Reason, Terms etc?
[12:08:38 CDT(-0500)] <js70> Do you see them filling in?
[12:09:32 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> there are valid values in each of the criteria drop down
[12:10:44 CDT(-0500)] <js70> talk?
[12:11:34 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> sure. you can call my office number
[12:11:40 CDT(-0500)] <js70> k
[13:26:49 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> Greg- I've tried to test 688 today by working in a certain portlet for a long period of time and allowing timeout length activity. I've not seen the error yet today. if I do get to a point where timeout occurs, it immediately redirects me to the login page. Is this what I should expect?
[13:30:17 CDT(-0500)] <dmccallum54> depends on what you're doing, i think. if you hit a uPortal URL, yes. if you hit a SSP API, i'd expect something more along the lines of our famous "it looks like you've lost your session, would you like to continue working" dialog (which of course, when dismissed, loses all your work and redirects you to login)
[13:34:17 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> thanks. that's what I've experienced. I'll keep pounding at it though. initially, it looks good
[13:37:30 CDT(-0500)] <js70> Jason, just checked in a fix to the problem I generated but I don't think its going to solve yours. I'd suggest you git it though. (Keeps you from seeing a 405 error)
[13:43:57 CDT(-0500)] <js70> Hey Jason, Dan has an idea. Have you tried monitoring your network tab in the browser tools to see if the requests are timing out?
[13:45:15 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> for the Disability Report?
[13:45:31 CDT(-0500)] <js70> yes
[13:45:54 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> how could it be timing out if it comes back immediately?
[13:46:43 CDT(-0500)] <js70> not sure, but from the error dan thinks thats a possibility.
[13:48:48 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> I'm not 100% sure the error is related to the Disability Report
[13:49:22 CDT(-0500)] <js70> are you seeing it with other reports or in other parts of the app?
[13:52:13 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> I haven't been able to pinpoint the exception to a behavior. I know twice it occurred right about the time the report submission failed. but I'm not seeing the error with any other reports
[14:03:11 CDT(-0500)] <js70> Jason, do you do a clean install? Grasping a straws right now.
[14:04:34 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> I think i found it
[14:04:58 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> there's no response on earlyAlertOutcome /ssp/api/1/reference
[14:05:09 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> it fails on the Early Alert Outcome report too
[14:07:10 CDT(-0500)] <js70> So you don't see any earlyAlertOutcomes in the select box for early alert outcomes?
[14:08:34 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> that is correct sir
[14:08:54 CDT(-0500)] <js70> Are there any early alert outcomes in your database?
[14:09:14 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> for that matter, there are no service reasons or special service groups
[14:09:43 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> yes, there are outcomes in the db
[14:09:52 CDT(-0500)] <js70> we may have found the concern. Don't think I am handling the no object found exception.
[14:10:02 CDT(-0500)] <js70> never mind.
[14:12:12 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> after I click all the ok's in the error, the report works the second time I run it. And, the outcome report has all the values in the criteria selection
[14:12:48 CDT(-0500)] <js70> so the no object found is not correct. did you see this from th net work report. Does the actual response have more information about the error?
[14:13:49 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> I saw the no response in the network info. for the earlyAlertOutcome call, there is no data in preview or response
[14:14:17 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> there is no cookies or timing tabs at all, just for that call
[14:15:53 CDT(-0500)] <js70> if you take the url thats in the header hit it with your browser, what happens?
[14:15:54 CDT(-0500)] <js70> URL:http://localhost:8080/ssp/api/1/reference/earlyAlertOutcome/
[14:16:07 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> here are the calls I see: programStatus, specialServiceGroup, studentType. they all succeed. then earlyAlertOutcome fails
[14:16:18 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> not found
[14:17:17 CDT(-0500)] <js70> 404? or other error.
[14:17:30 CDT(-0500)] <js70> what's not found the service or the objects.
[14:17:40 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> url
[14:17:56 CDT(-0500)] <js70> the url I sent would be the same for you correct?
[14:18:22 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> crap
[14:18:35 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> I get a json response
[14:18:53 CDT(-0500)] <js70> no, thats good.
[14:19:03 CDT(-0500)] <js70> :^)
[14:19:17 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> yeah. I clicked the link which didn't open on the machine I wanted to test the link
[14:19:32 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> duh
[14:21:17 CDT(-0500)] <js70> can you screen share now?
[14:23:37 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/683114221
[15:14:56 CDT(-0500)] <dmccallum54> JasonElwood are we aware of any existing installs on postgres?
[15:25:32 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> no customers
[15:25:34 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> all sql
[15:27:25 CDT(-0500)] <js70> ?
[15:27:41 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> question from Dan while you were out
[15:27:47 CDT(-0500)] <js70> k
[15:30:09 CDT(-0500)] <dmccallum54> ok
[15:30:37 CDT(-0500)] <dmccallum54> so for 856 i'm just going to provide a mssql script
[17:44:41 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> When an email is sent from SSP, is the FROM address the System Administrator name/email in the person table?
[18:11:16 CDT(-0500)] <dmccallum54> yes
[18:13:52 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> is it for the name combination or specific uuid?
[18:14:11 CDT(-0500)] <dmccallum54> specific uuid
[18:14:12 CDT(-0500)] <dmccallum54> mimeMessageHelper.setFrom(personService.get(
[18:14:12 CDT(-0500)] <dmccallum54> Person.SYSTEM_ADMINISTRATOR_ID).getEmailAddressWithName());
[18:14:37 CDT(-0500)] <JasonElwood> sweet. thanks
[18:33:27 CDT(-0500)] <js70> set up Charles to throttle, got the errors. the problem is slow load times.
[18:34:19 CDT(-0500)] <js70> open a ticket or just open SSP-650 and add the disable submit and hide form until load complete?
[18:34:52 CDT(-0500)] <dmccallum54> this sounds to me like a new ticket. it doesn't have anything to do with disability reporting per se
[18:35:01 CDT(-0500)] <js70> exactly. ok.
