SSP External Data Validation Queries

Below are some sample queries to validate the data loaded into external data.  Some of the queries simply produce row counts to validate the amount of data.  The majority of queries attempt to identify common problems such as:

  • Orphaned rows (rows that exist in the external data that can't be tied to a row in  external_person)
  • Values in tables that are not configured in SSP
  • Duplicate rows
