Releasing a New CAS Version

Please following the steps on Building to actually perform a release before following these steps.

  1. Prepare announcements. Announcements usually consist of the following:
    1. Version Released
    2. Bug Fixes
    3. New Features
    4. Improvements
  2. Send Announcements to:
    1. Jasig Web Site
    2. CAS Mailing Lists (-dev, -user, -announce)
    3. Jasig Newsletter Editor
  3. Be Socially Aware:
    1. Twitter
    2. Facebook Fan Page
    3. LinkedIn
