Authentication

CAS provides multiple authentication mechanisms for authenticating a person to the system. These authentications can be chained together to provide ways to collect multiple credentials.

Out of the box, CAS4 supports the following authentication mechanisms:

• X.509 Certificates
• Level Of Authentication specification
