For this year’s Open Apereo conference, we are using Lanyrd to share information about all the sessions and activities going on at the conference. Lanyrd.com aims to help you get more out of the conference - by finding the right sessions to attend, meeting the right people there, and catching up on slides, notes and video afterwards. Lanyrd is also a community-driven site where anyone can add events and improve existing listings.

In addition to a great desktop experience, Lanyrd is also the mobile app for the conference (see lanyrd.com/mobile). It will keep you updated on the schedule, speakers, and list of other attendees, and will let you build and see your own personal schedule for the conference. Lanyrd stores information about your events locally on your mobile device, so even if you are without a decent network connection you can still get what you need.

Here are the Lanyrd links for the Open Apereo 2013 conference:
Desktop:
lanyrd.com/2013/apereo or lanyrd.com/cpkyk
Mobile:
m.lanyrd.com/2013/apereo

Please explore the schedule, speakers, and other information before the conference to help plan what you want to see and who you want to meet. Be sure to create and account (presenters can 'claim' the account that has already been created for them), log in, indicate that you are attending the conference, and build your own personal schedule for the conference. Then, be sure to start using it on your mobile device and sync the event locally so you can always get to it. Please email us at support@apereo.org if you have any questions or problems with the Apereo event on Lanyrd.

After logging into Google+, go to the Apereo Google+ page, select the live streaming session you wish to attend, and click on the Join button. Be ready to join a session at the scheduled time, live streaming participation for each session is limited to 10 participants. If participation is full for your session, you can view the archived video from the Apereo Google+ page at your convenience.

There will be a Google+ Hangout moderator at each streaming conference session to assist during the presentation. If you have a question for the presenter, enter your question in the chat window and a moderator will ask the question on your behalf. Your microphone and video will be disabled prior to the start of the session.

Plan out the sessions you wish to join by going to the Open Apereo 2013 conference schedule.

We hope to see you there!

NOTE TO REGULAR CONFERENCE ATTENDEES

The limited number of virtual seats are for our colleagues not in attendance. If you are lucky enough to be with us in San Diego, please attend the session in person!
