Meeting 11 - September 18th (11am EDT)

Meeting 10 - Thursday 21 August 2014 via Calliflower

This was the first call after the 2014 Apereo conference.  It was sparsely attended and talked through cleaning up the issue tracker and wiki usage to reduce the noise somewhat and focus in on the most promising directions.

Meeting 9 - Wednesday 4 June at Apereo Conference

New uMobile definition: mobile uPortal client and specific extensions for the mobile platform.

Liberating portal services via web services - start with search - helps define a pattern of access for future services to unlock. Oakland to work on the native app, UW-Madison to look at the portal service unlocking.

Other services: notifications, app customisation (market place), favorites, map portlets, courses

App platforms - are we looking for a single development platform? This would be ideal in terms of focusing resources, but not certain how realistic this is. We need to build services to empower people to build clients.

Switch to Google Hangouts from Calliflower, have monthly calls, move conversations to the list where possible. Keep the same times

Revisit the organisation of the wiki. What about the website? Oakland to write up native, Misagh PhoneGap pages. uMobile needs to be included in the uPortal documentation.

Dave to assume the role of Chair.

We held our first open community call on Thursday 3 October 2013. We had a great attendance of more than 12 schools and a wide ranging conversation about everything mobile. One of the outputs from this was a snapshot of mobile strategies and technologies
