Modules Dropped in CAS4

The following modules were dropped when transitioning from CAS3 to CAS4.

  • Legacy Authentication Handlers
  • JBossCache Ticket Registry - did not provide the speed required to support high-performance distributed CAS instances
  • BerkeleyDB - lack of interest in this over other solutions (i.e. JPA, memcached).
