uP 2.5.x Updates

Release engineering currently very constrained based on Andrew's schedule & availability. Progress unlikely until after 6/26/06.

• 2.5.3 RC released -> bugfixes (PAGS & DLM Fixes, etc)
• Academus Improvements Moving into Core

uP 2.6.x Updates

Need Release Engineer to provide better schedule for upcoming releases

• DLM is default layout manager in current HEAD configuration
• Luminus IV in testing - probably not see changes on uP tree until ~ October
• DLM Integrated Modes support probably not be included in the release

uP 3.x

• UI updates and work on presentation, flow, and configuration interfaces
• Bugfixing, deployment refinements
• Probably limited progress until Fall uP developers meeting (~.5 FTE actively dedicated over next 3 months)
• Scalability & Caching Framework Improvements

• Andrew talked too much, will present less at the next one

Requests for Assistance

uP 2.5

• Improve visibility of nightly builds & project resources (Maven site, tests, etc.)
• Portlet support improvements -> multiple portlets on page, outstanding portlet bugs
• WSRP consumption testing & debugging – this featureset needs an owner and Andrew in the release engineer role cannot volunteer to be this owner.

uP 2.6

• D&D Customization work (implementation using DLM ProcessingPipelines?)

uP 3.x

• Maven Configuration (builds, reports, etc.)
• DLM -> into uP3 code-base
