uPortal 4 provides full support for the JSR-168 Portlet 1.0 Specification. The content in this section documents best practices for developing portlets for the uPortal 4 platform. These portlets are generally assumed to be separate web applications running in their own servlet context. For more information on portlet development in uPortal, please read the sections below.
