When logged in as an administrator, you can import data into uPortal or export data from uPortal using the admin web UI.

On the Admin Tools tab, click the Import Export link.

Import

Navigate to the items you wish to upload and import.  After selecting all files and clicking the Import button, uPortal will attempt to import each file in succession.  A message displays per file that had an error.  You can look in the <tomcat_home>/logs/portal/portal.log for details on the error.
