Jay Newell, Associate Professor, Greenlee School of Journalism and Communication

Jay's bad hand writing led him to type his feedback to students on their work. After counting how many words he'd typed, he realized that he was typing the same general comments and feedback statements over and over and over again. To save time, Jay worked with colleagues in the Greenlee School to develop the program Mark Up for Macs. Pulling the Mark Up tool into ThinkSpace allows faculty who don't use Macs utilize the software and it can be integrated with their WebCT grade books. Watch the video to learn more about how Mark Up works in ThinkSapce.
