I don't know if you solved this already, but here is my 2 cents.
I would first isolate the problem to see if the CAS service is sending back the success token to openid or not. From the null pointer errors I think that something is not making it back.
Hi, I'm trying to use authentication of cas to authenticate a openid url. When I input OpenID URL into my consumer, I can be redirected to CAS login page. After authentication is successful, the CAS return me to the consumer. The problem is CAS does not provide a page to ask whether the user accept to believe the consumer. And in the consumer, it can not retrieve information when it say "OpenID authentiation failed: Server denied check_authentication"
I attach some screen shot, please help me figure out this problem.
