Platform Statement
The JASIG organization is a well respected leader in higher education community source; with this, the organization has a unique opportunity leverage it's influence and an obligation to share it's experience by shepherding new innovative ideas and assisting existing open source efforts to maximize their potential.
As an existing member of the Incubation Working Group, I have used my broad I.T. experiences and knowledge of community source to help define a process for launching and supporting strong community source efforts. I would like to continue this mission and refine the initial process.
