Description
The Sakai Open Academic Environment (OAE), the Sakai Foundation's next-generation open source product for teaching, learning, and research, has undertaken a deeply collaborative project organization that distributes development planning input among users, designers, and developers. The OAE Project structure and product represent a holistic effort to develop a coherent platform for teaching, learning, and academic networking and to use for that development a design-led process that foregrounds user needs and the user experience.
This presentation will provide an update on the OAE Project's development planning process and product, including the project roadmap for the next 24 months and highlights from recent releases.
