Description

The Documentation Coordinator position is focused on CAS documentation efforts as a whole more than the accuracy of the content, which is the duty of the Documentation Editor.  Along with organizing paid and/or volunteer services to address documentation needs, the Documentation Coordinator is concerned with usability of documentation from various aspects (topic, version, etc).

Tasks

  • Coordination of documentation editors
  • Overall vision of documentation effort
  • Coordination with steering committee and developers on timelines for updates
  • Review work of documentation editors

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with English
  • Communication Skills
  • Familiarity with Confluence
  • Experience coordinating small teams.

Time Commitment

  • Initial upfront effort to develop overall vision
  • Minimal effort during maintenance time (1 - 2 hrs per week)
  • Possibly more effort during release time (3 - 4 hours per week)
