This is a statement indicating what we intend to do with the information submitted during portal registration. It should also be considered whether or note we could incorporate this in a general site-wide privacy statement and simply reference that instead.
Here are some initial thoughts that could be incorporated in a statement:
- We will not share contact information with other organizations without getting prior permission from the individual. Individuals may, however, publish their contact information in a public manner on the web site.
- If indicated by the individual, deployment information will be made public.
- Information will be also published in an aggregated form that removes individual or institutional information.
- Jasig may contact individuals to ask for additional information and/or share information about Jasig products and opportunities.
