[12:52:50 CST(-0600)] <hashpuppy> how do you guys usually assign a user to an application? at the user management level (such as ldap)? give them an extra attribute of applications they are allowed to access. and pass that extra attribute to the applications. if the application sees its name in that extra application, then create a new user?

[12:53:08 CST(-0600)] <hashpuppy> or do you usually just have the application fetch a list of all available users and then assign certain ones to the app?
