As of 06.01.2007, we at Hopkins have a deployed a mostly functional post-M1 version of 2.6.0 in a development environment. I have kept notes along the way, and plan on posting them upon our successful Production deployment (July 2007).

The "General Vendor Branch Management Procedure" section in the Version Control with Subversion manual has been invaluable to our success so far. (I only had to manually merge about 30 files – SVN handled the rest!)
