Blackboard Portlet - Build Failure

I am trying to setup the Blackboard Portlet which I have downloaded from https://wiki.jasig.org/display/JSG/Blackboard+Portlet.

I have the following enviromental setup:

  • java 1.6
  • Tomcat 6
  • ant 1.7.1
  • maven 3.0.2 + the plugins: maven-compiler-plugin 2.3.2, maven-war-plugin 2.1.1, jspc-maven-plugin 2.0-alpha-3 and jspc-compiler-tomcat6-2.0-alpha-3.

When I run "mvn install" I get the following error.
