Slogan
Background
Previously, "JA-SIG" stood for something, expanding to "Java Architectures Special Interest Group", with special interest in the use of Java in the administration of higher education implied in there somewhere.
Now that JA-SIG is losing its dash and no longer acronymically expanding to anything, JA-SIG probably needs one or more replacement taglines for conveying in a nutshell the organization.
This page is for arriving at such slogans or taglines.

A good exercise for tagline development is coming up with a few keywords that best define the organization, then trying every possible combination of the keywords. So we might want to start with Aaron's suggestion and say our keywords should be:
Higher education
Software development
Collaborative
And derive the following possibilities:
Collaborative Software Development in Higher Education
Collaborative Development for Higher Education Software
Higher Education Software Developed Collaboratively
etc...
So perhaps we can have a discussion on what keywords best define JA-SIG.
