Incubation Exit Strategy (old)

OpenRegistry has been in incubation since 2009. This document identifies the issues to be resolved before OR can successfully exit the Incubation Process.

  1. Review license compliance and completion of CLAs.
  2. Demonstrate active committers from multiple institutions.
  3. Identify project lead.
  4. Establish policies for accepting new committers.
  5. Establish a project steering committee, including governance procedures and membership.
    1. This must include Jasig Project Voting and Decision Making procedures
  6. Identify conflicting design requirements across participating institutions and plans for resolving these conflicts.
  7. Develop community-oriented release plans/roadmap (in Confluence and/or JIRA)
  8. Update wiki if necessary
