Agenda

  • Roll call, choose note taker (Bill volunteer)

  • UnConference Update/Results (and any major Sakai/Jasig happenings)

    • Adam raised issue regarding cleartext and caching of credentials.  Marvin has this issue in JIRA and created a solution.

    • Discussion regarding MFA and an extension to the CAS protocol to support an edge case.  Consensus was that it was not worth it.  Wait for SAML2?

    • Discussion regarding TGT and mutable server authentication in a load balanced deployment.

    • Jasig/Sakai dicussion

      • overall favorable

      • slow process over the next 12-18 months

    • Lots of interest in OR

    • Benn/Jenn interested in starting a community of interest in open source IdM stack

  • Documentation group next steps

    • Marvin ready to move forward, volunteers as editor.

  • VASCO conference call - (JJM)

    • next step is conference call with Steering Committee to discuss goals and objectives.

  • Quick status of CAS Server, Java Client, and ClearPass.

    • Marvin moving forward with licensing details

    • probably going to cut a 3.4.3.1 tonight or tomorrow to get the Spring Security security release in

    • cleartext hashing work in progress

    • John Martin has approved committer access on CAS Server

    •  Marvin has bug/patch for .NET client

  • Recruiting more people / reliable people - deferred (Scott)
