uPortal can be downloaded from http://www.uportal.org/download.html.
There are 2 distributions:
- Quickstart - Distribution containing uPortal and software necessary to run (database, servlet container, ANT). Requires a JDK.
- Standalone - Files intended to be deployed into a Java Servlet Container (e.g. Tomcat, Jetty, Weblogic, Websphere...)
The quickstart is intended for demonstration/evaluation purposes. in particular, the included HSQL database may not be appropriate for production usage.
