Bedework has long allowed calendar managers to "attach" an image to an event by supplying a URL to an image. Now calendar managers may upload an image to Bedework and "attach" to an event.
To enable this feature for a calendar suite:
- Create an image repository (folder) inside Bedework
- Open the admin client.
- Visit the Systems tab.
- Click on Manage Calendars and Folders.
- Create a folder under Public. Let's call it images.
- In the calendar suite preferences, add the path to that folder
- Visit the Calendar Suite tab.
- Click on Manage preferences.
- Fill in Default image directory with, in our example, /public/images.
- You may also limit the size of uploaded files, by filling in Maximum size for file uploads.
