Ways to contribute to uPortal's portlet base
- Adapt or package a portlet created by another project into uPortal.
Before creating a new portlet check if anyone else is working on a similar project by emailing the Ja-Sig mailing list. Also, check the internet for portlets created for other portals that could be easily adapted to work with uPortal.
- Create project at SourceForge and host your portlet code in CVS and make releases there. Get your portlet included in a uPortal Quickstart Release
- Add link to war/zip/tar.gz to your code in the Ja-Sig Clearinghouse.
