[11:00:57 CDT(-0500)] <pspaude1> @Tony did you check outside? Maybe the racoon chewed some wires?

[11:03:30 CDT(-0500)] <TonyUnicon> its possible

[11:05:50 CDT(-0500)] <TonyUnicon> raccoons show no mercy

[11:11:35 CDT(-0500)] <pspaude1> Yep, most older houses (pre-2000's) you'd be surprised the phone connection comming in, the boxes are small and are often dislodged or wires loose. The newer houses I've seen better boxes. f the phone company or cable (if it's cable) was working in the box recently definately call. They probably knocked something.

[11:12:12 CDT(-0500)] <pspaude1> I've had 2 or 3 outages now because they connected someone and disconnected mine or others.

[11:12:16 CDT(-0500)] <dmccallum54> Merciful Raccoon… my other new band name.

[11:14:05 CDT(-0500)] <TonyUnicon> I had no idea they made nests in chimneys, I guess quite common

[11:14:21 CDT(-0500)] <TonyUnicon> and listen to this, once we got the baby out, they actually but him back into the chimney

[11:14:47 CDT(-0500)] <TonyUnicon> with the rest of the family, and they put some stuff at the top of the chimney that should lore the entire family out

[11:14:59 CDT(-0500)] <TonyUnicon> then the chimney cap gets installed

[11:15:26 CDT(-0500)] <TonyUnicon> the critter guy is fair and humane

[11:15:47 CDT(-0500)] <TonyUnicon> but not cheap
