Questions

We walked through the JIRA check list for the Calendar portlet. Tuy was not present during the creation of the Incubation Process and had several questions that we need to clarify.

  1. What is the accepted procedure for Jasig voting - should it be documented?  Who can vote?  Anyone on list?  (red star) Susan to write up strawman and send to board and steering committees.
  2. What is a project expected to vote other than new committers?

  1. Do we still require at least one release has occurred during the Incubation process?
  2. Do we need road map in both confluence and JIRA or JIRA only? What is the difference between road map and release plan? Need both?

In many cases, the check list is subjective.  Susan believes the incubation committee member should use their best judgment to check (or not) and comment each item.  Once that is done the IWG will discuss and decide as a group when requirements are sufficiently complete to exit incubation.
