Some portlets (particularly calendar) need performance improvements

• Profile loading behavior to determine whether delay is due to network I/O or JavaScript parsing
• Determine how much setting ETags and cache headers might help
• Experiment with developing select portlets as native modules
• Implement full JSR-286 portlet cache support
