[11:27:47 CDT(-0500)] <drewwills> Morning folks... is there such a thing as a /hasPermission REST endpoint (that will tell you if the current user has the specified permission by any means within the uP system), or is there any interest in having that?
[11:28:33 CDT(-0500)] <drewwills> or a /getMyPermissions endpoint would work too
[11:28:45 CDT(-0500)] <EricDalquist> not that I know of
[15:36:38 CDT(-0500)] <athena> hey EricDalquist - did you get a chance to create a JIRA for the spring work?
[15:36:43 CDT(-0500)] <EricDalquist> no not yet
[15:36:50 CDT(-0500)] <EricDalquist> was rather busy yesterday and today
[15:36:59 CDT(-0500)] <EricDalquist> I'll get it created tomorrow when I actually have a full day to do work
[15:41:04 CDT(-0500)] <athena> ok - just let me know and i can add it to recommended votes
[15:41:48 CDT(-0500)] <athena> did some work on the user account portlet today
[15:41:51 CDT(-0500)] <athena> made two changes:
[15:42:20 CDT(-0500)] <athena> 1. made the local account store have a configurable list of query attributes rather than just querying everything. that should keep the list of available search terms a whole lot smaller
[15:42:58 CDT(-0500)] <athena> 2. grouped all the displayed person attributes by display name. so now we get "NetID (username, uid, user.login.id)" instead of three entries
[15:43:04 CDT(-0500)] <athena> does that sound reasonable?
[16:45:44 CDT(-0500)] <drewwills1> +1 "(1:42:21 PM) athena: 1. made the local account store have a configurable list of query attributes"
