Supported browsers
uPortal 2.6 supports :

A-grade web browsers as defined by the Yahoo! YUI project.
As of this writing, these browsers are:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP and Windows Vista
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 on Windows 98, Windows 2000, and Windows XP
- Mozilla Firefox 2.X on all operating systems
- Opera 9.X on Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Mac OS 10.4, and Mac OS 10.5
- Apple Safari 3.0X on Mac OS 10.4 and Mac OS 10.5
Mozilla Firefox 2.X means "the latest single non-beta version at that branch level". For instance, as of this writing Firefox 2.0.0.12 is supported. When 2.0.0.13 is released, 2.0.0.12 is no longer supported.
What does it mean for the uPortal project to support particular web browsers?

No! The project welcomes any defect report you'd like to raise. What differs between supported and unsupported browsers is project commitment to do anything about it. If you have passion for making uPortal work great on OperaSplatBrowser, please, do.
