Subtabs (get screenshot from Illinois) Dilemma: users ask for new tabs for their content but honoring every requests results in too many tabs:
- With too many tabs -- they wrap in the OOTB uPortal (UC Irvine's solution is a javascript slider)
- Information overload for users
Hence the question: what warrants creation of a new tab and how do we convince users to use DLM's and portlet permissions to push channels onto existing tabs (where they are only visible to those with access).
